Diesel Electrical System Tips
This is a diagram with pictures attached of a jump start system I installed in my service truck. It's expensive but worth it. With todays electronics one bad jump start could end a simple repair or even your job. If this is a help just hit the thanks button.

Jump starting
Always after the vehicle starts that is being jump started, turn on everything electrical possiable. Disconnect the negative cable first. This will prevent a voltage spike and possible damage to sensitive electronics.
