    Default Advice on emission testing

    Hello guys,
Just looking for some advice on emission testing.I have this toyota rav4 2.0i petrol 3sfe engine type 1996my.It has no oxygen sensors instead it has an adjustable potentiometer to set fuel mixture.there is no live data on this just flash codes. cant remember what the CO reading was(+-10%) But I will check it on the analyser tomorrow and let you guys Know. The CO reading changes max .2% when I set it to maximum lean on pot.

I just cant set the CO reading. Here is a list of items I have checked

1.Checked potentiometer working(when I turn the screw there is a voltage output voltage increase, decreases
2.Checked coolant temp sensor resistance decreases with increased engine temp
    3.Set T.P.S according to autodata.
    4.Changed oil

I am still not getting any joy.I cant remember what the CO reading was(+-10%) But I will check it on the analyser tomorrow and let you guys Know.

Anybody here doing MOT testing?Does anybody have any good info on fuel mixture settings?

    Any advice will help
