Each one can make his solution
I haven't seen newer solution then 11.11.5/12.12.0 shared in public ( use google )
The good solution you will not find in China or in public web shops or sold in forums in market place
This solution will be killed sooner or later
Flash = reprogramming - search how to reprogram VCDS in forum you will get what you need

There is a way to see if a cable has inside Atmega or NEC without open it? Any software to "read" via usb?

There is way to tead and write the MCU ny Usb w/o Open it.
But you cannot see if uts Atmega or NEC.
I had a dump extracted from a clone w/ NEC and I flash it in a clone w/ Atmega.
Just to check if this one are diffrent

Ok, I got it, it is not possible...
I had to know that, in case I buy a new one and will be with "waranty" seal...I will not know if it has Atmega or NEC.

Cracked VCDS 16.8.0 (Exe only) and ATMega dump (FW for HW type 1 & 2 + EEPROM). Dissabled marriage with FTDI Chip ID and cleared blacklisted serials. Original VCDS 16.8.0 installation can be found here https://link-4share.com/download/jl3...aller_rar.html.

Copy cracked VCDS vcds_dump_16.8.0_crack.exe to the directory where vcds is installed and run it.

Hello,
I have cable Super 812.4 Dual K&CAN and would like to upgrade it to newer software. It now runs VCDS 805 as ver. 812.4 was a Beta ver. and did not run good...
I read all posts here but did not see anything about this specific cable.
Is it possible to upgrade it and if so any d/l links and info on how to?

HW1 - ATMega pins 34 and 35 connected to GAL
HW2 - no connection on ATMega pins 34 and 35

EEPROM is the same as for 11.2, but blacklisted serials are cleared from vcds.exe. Also signature checking (RSA) of license is disabled.

EEPROM addresses :
- License : 0x00B0..0x00BF
- RSA signature (SHA1 of License) : 0x0041..0x00AE

You need to have and to be able to use a soldering station, of course you need Avr programmer and find a pdf file called Tutorial (replace of LPT with AVR prog.)

I have tried this 16.8 version with HW1 interface, but what fusebits should I use, witj cddcf9ff there is cnnection error almost all time. What VID pid should be?
