Why i can't download from the forum?

Hello everyone I have bought a cable HEX-V2 Dual K & CAN; the package had a cd with loader when i first installed it and connected it to the car ; the vcd keeps asking me to pass the test and a message box appears with the following: Port status : OK
USB Library Version: 03.02.07
USB driver Version : 02.10.00
Interface Found!
Type: Ross-Tech HEX-USB
Status: not Plugged into Car!

What should I do?Would any one help please.

Test shows that it is not V2 but HEX-USB
Probably you have low quality device or use bad loader or version itself. If it is good you can flash it and get good dump to use with latest version. Post picture of PCB but you have all information on other thread HERE

First I'd like to thank you for the reply and appreciate your help much; would you please give me a list of tools required to reflash and where to get the dump file to program the atmeg; what happened to the cable was I thought a cloned cable an original one so, I went to ross tech and downloaded the latest software and ran it without any loader I was naive ; it seems to me that an original software got it disabled. I plaued with couple of tools that programmed the FTDI USB interface but I couldn't get to the atmeg controller even with a boot loader to program.

I ordered USBASP programmer from local dealer. But I need a road map; I know about lots of things now the atmeg is used to communicate to car and ftdi is usb controller i know about pin outs of the obd; I know about ftdi FTDI232RL which is my case MY GAL controller is PALCE

I have been searching, studying your forum and ink you gave earlier, I'm still feeling confused that makes me ask your help once more for a roadmap/steps and dump/tools if it does not bother You.

Is it possible to reprogram this hardware to work with some newer software that supports UDS ?

Hello everyone,

I have an Atmega 162 and FT232bl chip (chinese wire) in VAG12.12 firmware.

The wire been updated because i have let the internet connection run i think. I think that because i have a windows with a message "sorry , this function requiert a licencied interface when try to acces" to "04 basic setting" in the controller 53 parking brake.
The wire working fine before...

Please can someone help me for update my wire to a workable version ?

Good evening friends, I am trying to recover a cable that I used with version 12.12.


I'm trying to follow what "gopelhu" indicated in this link: https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forum...=1#post2725896


The problem is that the link is out of service and I can't get the installer file for vcds 12.12 512bits, does anyone have it available to share please? or is there another solution other than using that installer?
