    Mate
This tool comes with a dedicated VCDS softwear.
If I know well it is v11.11.3
    Did you use this one?
And please share pics with the message that you show after you do TEST
    and from ABOUT
Maybe you do something wrong and you do not need to reflash the Atmega
BTW this is the worst tool made VCDS made in China I ever seen
    Good luck

Everything to cut expence and to improve profit...
I guess price is the same like one that have all chips
My advice-send them back that shit they send you if you have a chance to get money back...

For your interface the VID/PID must be this:
    USB\VID_0403&PID_FA30
Use MProg and change the FA24 into FA30
    Then must be recognized.
    Good luck

Mate use the softwear that comes with interface.
That kind of tool that you have it is usually sold with VCDS 11.11.3 softwear.
As I allready told you the VCDS 11.11. it is generic. There's 11.11.0 version, 11.11.1, .....11.11.5
And your tool dump works just one version of VCDS that comes with the interface not with other.
That's why it said "Interface Not Found"
    Good luck

    No mate
The softwear upgrade just the firmwear in the Atmega.
And this just if you have a not blacklisted serial in the Atmega eeprom
I suppose you have a blacklisted serial so you cannot upgrade it.
If you allready tried this then you need to reflash your tool with a dump and use the version of VCDS for that dump.
    Good luck
