    Hi Adam,

What Scan Tool are you using to read this vehicle ?

Also can you do a full auto scan to see if there are any other faults in any other modules

    02811 - Ross-Tech Wiki

I know ross-tech wiki. I am using VCDS and VAS. Number of this module: 8K0905852D. I don't have full scan. This car is 20km away from me.

Hi, I have the same problem in A5... Does anyone managed to with it or just replace the locking-module with a dealer audi-vw?

Maybe someone has a wiring diagram to locking module in Audi A5 2009y?

    Thanks!

I had once this problem with a renault megane. I supose that this vehicle is keyles. So after many reserches i managed to reepair the fault with help of the hammer.
Vehicle recognizez the key card but steering unlpcked, on the display. I hammered a litel bit the steering columb and the steering unlocked automatically.

Agree with you, viceversa, it could be stucked in open position, isn't that?

This problem is described in ELSA (TPL) and solved only with renew steering lock and reflash BCM II (or renew BCM II too). Look in ELSA TPL or in ERWIN AUDI (online).
Propably it is special bug (one of many deliberately designed) from Audi producer to kill cars after guarantee.
