Default Xenoblade Cronicals fails to load....

Hello eveyone, I'm using WBFS Manager 2.5 and when I try to load it onto my partitioned USB it says that it'll take up 6.31Gb of space... now when looking at this tutorial ([ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssDMc2fGHxk]How To Play PAL Games on NTSC-U (United States) Nintendo Wii - Region Free - YouTube[/ame]) his copy is at 6.36Gb. Now I ask this just to see if everyone else who downloaded the game got ether 6.36Gb or 6.31Gb after converting the ISO to WBFS. Also I'd like to know if the game worked. Thanks very much!

Also I've only been able to get up to the first loading screen with Hermes IOS 222. The BLUE loading icon in the lower-righthand corner just sits there after the wiimote caution instructions disappear. I'm trying this in CFG USB v70, not the forwarder. Any ideas? I also ran the latest verison of Pimp My Wii so everything should be up to date which means I MUST be missing something...

WBFS Manager 3.0.1 has been out for a long time well I've been using it 5 months, upgrade.

WBFS Manager won't load wbfs files so I don't know why you are converting them?

WBFS Manager will show a game e.g. 4.5GB and it will show an installed size which can vary 1-2GB so it must compress it even more.

Well I updated my WBFS Manager today to the most recent one, and I guess I stated my case wrong. What I meant by converting is when the ISO is scrubbed. I'm not trying to load it from WBFS, I'm trying to load the game in CFG USB. What I'm asking is if anyone has a scrubbed image of Xenoblade Chronicals that is more than 6.31Gbs... and if less does the image still work when loaded from a USB loader? I'm just trying to see if I'm missing data and if that's why the game stops at the first loading screen...

It does not load because you are trying to load it with the wrong cios all dual layer games load with a cios base of (38) which is usually hermes 222, 223 or 224 can't remember what one but i'd try 223 first. If you are using the d2x pack from http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ctions-235450/ then it will load with either 246 or 245. Try 246 first as that has a base of(38)

Well I installed the d2x pack onto IOS246 AND IOS245 and as of yet booting the game with 246 doesn't even give me the blue loading icon. I used the MMM (multi-mod-manager) to install the new wads. When I try with 223 and 222 I can get as far as the blue loading icon. Is there anyway to tell which IOS's have what bases?

EDIT: Nvm 245 got me to the loading screen as well...
EDIT: There's a difference! 245 won't let me push the home button, to make the little 'no home' icon come up. But 223 does....

Surely you just picked your original up out the case or have you already damaged the original beyond repair and had to download a copy. If it is the latter of the two and your original is damaged then best option is to rent it to ensure a successful rip to replace the copy you OWN.

It's funny you put 'own' in capital letters... that aside I DID get it to work. Re-ripping finally got me passed that darned loading screen and onto the first cut-scene... so yeah I was missing data. xP Thanks to all and I hope anyone whom google's this page finds the information useful...

P.S How to I... like... rep+ you highlander. You dog you.

Piracy cannot be condoned so we have to make sure it is a backup you are trying to get working. That way dk doesn't get into trouble for discussing piracy in open forum and if you have found me helpful you can add rep by clicking on the scales under my name cheers. Any other problems just shout up we can usually get you through them (except tintin with a usb loader)
