Ford VCM disconecting

Hi
I have VCM cloan and when i connect to the car it works for about 2min and disconnects from vehicle and i have to diconect the cables from the obd plug and laptop and start all over again,any have a solution to this kind of problem?

When i first had that problem it got so bad it stop working all together and i needed to get it repaired. Now it does it sometimes but not often. The best thing to do is make sure the computer is fully booted up then plug the vcm into the car then into the computer. wait til the computer sees it. the first connection will drop but it will again connect. Now start IDS and it should start a solid connection. If it stills loses it every 2 min then i would send it back to be repaired. Good Luck.

hi i had same prob i had to heat mine up and then it would work ok untill it cood down best thing to do is buy good copy or but oridinal.
