Default Speed limit ford transit, ids only?

Can anyone confirm that speed limiting ford transits 2005 onwards can be done with aftermarket tools like X431 diagun or Autocom ?
is Ids the only option, any ideas of a good supplier, and where do you find the option to set.....pcm,bcm or dash?

    thanks in advance

    OK, point taken:-

If you find a piece of wood under the gas pedal - remove it - see if that fixes the problem.

    Default 2205> Transit Speed Limit

    Hi
IDS of course but and be aware that pre 2005 is a full download with IDS to install or remove a speed limiter post 2005 can be done in the flash with tuning software OR Autoboss V30 will do speed limits unless it has a tacho fitted as in a minibus

    Regards
    Dave

Just play a bit with IDS and you'll find it quite easy under the service functions menu.. You'll have a number of options like miles or KM, restrict or derestrict etc..

    Hope it helps

Thanks florinyes, the guy has 18 vans he wants to restrict to 70mph, so I hope this is in the presets or maybe I could enter it manually.
