i'm also from tamworth. just like shady. amazing. almost as if we're brothers. we are. shut up.

it's shit. it's got a castle, a bargain booze and plenty of pubs and takeaways so can't complain too much.

king offa of mercia had his capital in tamworth. he built offa's dyke to keep the welsh out. it didn't work. b*st*rds.

    i also frequent blackpool.
i've taken to referring to blackpool as wolverhampton on sea.
my missus is strongly against my analogy but what does she know? she's never even been to wolverhampton.

I'm from Arklow, known locally and made famous by Dustin the Turkey as Arkla. Five minutes walk to two beaches , North and South split by a river and five minutes walk to the forestry park. Best of both worlds.
A lot of main shopping street now has empty shops since the arrival of the new shopping center with its 9 screen cinema and top name shops.
I have lived elsewhere due to work arrangements but nowhere compares to Arklow.
Birth place of Ronnie Delaney the Olympic medal winner.
A once thriving tourist destination with a great sea fishing tradition and the place where Gypsy Moth 11 was built along with Asgard sail training vessel which recently visited Davy Jones' locker.

    i went to nuneaton once.

    not by choice.

my train was diverted because of a suicide at derby.

i had to stop at nuneaton and get a taxi back to civilisation.

i was there for a maximum of 10 minutes.

most tedious and infuriating 10 minutes of my life.

for this, i blame you, tigger.

    GIVE ME RETRIBUTION!!!!!
