Default Superbox picture - New HDTV, Help please.

Ive recently had a 1080p Samsung series 5 tv.

However the picture from my starview super box seems to be grainy on my new tv.

Im using the Yellow, red, white out put on the box to my tv.

Would a gold plated scart make the picture better??

All advice would be appreciated, cheers.

Scart cable gives a better picture.( these gold cables are a bit of hype. Just a decent normal one will do) Put your scart cable into your RGB scart socket on the TV. The other end goes into the bottom scart socket on the box

    Is this a samsung thing??

I bought a 42" Samsung plasma and my picture is very "liney".
Even with a high quality scart cable the picture is made up of thick "horizontal lines" so to speak.
I use the freeview picture as much as possible.
    Not complaining though.

SVideo peeps is probably the best to use, sure the SV4 has one? and use the audio out sockets into the back of your audio in on your TV .

Is it white banding slowly running up and down the screen. Also, do you have a low buzzing noise coming from the speakers. If so, i'm in the same boat and stuck myself!
