1.9 dth, 2007 reg, brake bulb failed on rear cluster, brake light illuminated on speedo and brake light message on radio display. replaced bulb , brake lights all working ,but light on speedo and message on display still on. does this have to be took off diagnostically, and if so can opcom do it and how, thanks

I dont think you have replaced the right bulb. These use a substitute bulb (for example the rear fog light) in a bulb fails and thats why you think its working.
