First you got a bit of learning to do.

If the box has a Sportster image and you are getting terestrial channels you only need to FTP the rom7 file to the keys folder.

All files and tutorials can be found in the downloads section under Dbox.

It's all here mate and it has been discussed hundreds of times.

Just go into the Dbox2 section and start reading, all the information is there and so are the files you need.

Basically, all you need to do is FTP the new ROM file from your PC to the Dbox2.

You can use any new ROM, no need to use soley Rom 7.

You don't need to replace the image if you don't want to mate.

All you will be doing is replacing a single file in /var/keys/ (and / or possibly /var/scce/)

    Follow Mubz's excellent tutorial here...

....and get the Rom Files from here.......

    Hi

I am also completely new to the forum and have a dbox which I would like to get into and fix as a hobby really. It was given to me apparently broken. So after reading several posts on here which are all extremely helpful I would like to upload an image etc.

However when I find the 'how to' post I am unable to download the tutorials. I understand I do have to post but do not wish to bother the forum with silly requests that have been answered already. Any idea how I may be able to start downloads?

    Kind regards
