Default dm500t signal issue, help please - MMDS

hello guys just got dm500t up and running yesterday with signal lock but today for some strange reason snr fluctuating 61% to 100% has any one seen this before , was up on the roof today despite frost,at ariel does not seem to be the issue, have digivox t running in other room with no probs, plugged out to see signal increase on dbox alas no difference,am i missing something.
i read devilfish recomending a booster to increase signal on another thread, but not sure i can do this with a mmds set up which already increases signal ,any advice greatly appreciated
    thanks guys

sounds like a loose connection or ur run to dreambox is too long, but if ur in a weak signal area u could try changin ur aerial power supply the standard one is 18v... if u use a dreambox one its 24v and this will give u an extra boost as i had same issue wit 2 boxes changed psu and now i have 4 runnin ok all at same time.

thanks red devil i have a 24v here i will put it back on and try again,i moved ariel to its optimium position yesterday, the snr is just bouncing up and down as i said 60% to 100% very quickly ,is this normal for box with weak signal or does it snr just sit there on what ever signal it recieves?

I've had this sometimes for no obvious reason,

found that some images for the 500t run the tuner better than others,

if the problem persists, try reflashing, with the same image or another one to compare, the Pli ones seem to help more with signal issues . . . .

    I've got two DM600PVR doorstops...
