Merc Sprinter 5P08C3

Hi All.



Got a sprinter with the usual start error cr@p.

But here's the issue:
The 5P08 in the ecu is damaged and I dont have the original dump.

Anyone able to help with a dump or some advice please?

AFAIK, you must have a virgin ECU and then recode with Star on car.

Got a sneaky suspicion Lupu_Sandu might be right though.

As for carsoft 7.4, Ive looked already and there is nothing in it other than the normal diag stuff for the sprinter (which works very well on the sprinter by the way).

was the 5p08 damaged because it's glued down as well as soldered?
It will read in circuit, but not always write.



have a virgin WSP dump somewhere if you need it but I can't help with the virgin 5p08 ECU dump.
Other than the immo and VIN what other parameters are stored on the 5P08?

try comparing USED 5P08 dumps?
