    Default W210 EIS Swap

Hi there i ve got a E320(w210) wich the eis has been destructed, i ve bought another one from junk yard, with key, so i am trying to adapt on the car, i ve renewed the steering lock and ecu via ak400 and used the star to adapt but no success. So could anyone tell me the right sequence??? I mean renew the ecu and steering lock and then adapt with star???? As simple as that???

    Thanks in advance

ps: the key is sucking and the steering lock has been released but the engine do not run...

you have to have several items all from the same donor car since their VIN number is stored in each one. This would include the transmission selector module and steering lock module, and the ECU.
I had the same problem as you, after extensive research and not having the tool to move the data from the old to the donor EIS, gave up and had the dealer install a new IES.

the used EIS with key is pretty useless at the moment.
