I tried the Dell 2A7B keygen off of Dogbert's Blog and had no success with the one it gave me.
Said master code was nnnnnnbn
Revision A04 Bios currently
I bought a Dell Latitude E5410 off of Craigslist and it had an Admin Password set.
I was wanting to update my BIOS and then Re-Install windows.
But when I tried flashing the BIOS the "System Admin Password" popped up.
I contacted the seller and he wasn't aware of a system password, apparently this is a third hand laptop.
So would anyone know the Backdoor/Root password?

Hallo,
Need also MP for latitude 1KNJ4S1-1D3B
Please help.
When the master password doesn't work you can always do it the old fashioned way by resetting/disconnecting the bios memory.
Go to this page and scroll down to "How do you manually Unlock and reset the password from your Dell latitude Laptop?"
DELL LATITUDE e5410 BIOS PASSWORD, Unlock & Reset your Laptop in minutes, Aug 03 2012
Founds this thread via google. Will be downloading the tool as recommended by kam as soon as the forum grants access to downloads. I'll let you all know if this works for me. I'm trying to remove an administrative bios password from a Latitude E5410. Also, bookmarked the site. I might lurk on and off for the next few days.
EDIT: I consistently get the "incorrect password entered" error with the generated code. I've tried both the 7 character serial number, as well as the 7+4 character number (in format xxxxxxx-xxxx) and neither seems to work. On an only slightly related note, the .rar'd executable, dell.exe, works great in Wine on linux (as I don't have Windows on this particular system) Does anyone know if there is an updated version of this program? I think it's possible that Dell updated their master codes after this software was released (or that it just doesn't work). Thanks!
EDIT2: It seems like the software is just not compatible with the newer computer. I locked a Latitude D610 with a test password, and it broke it flawlessly.

Bump. I used the above tool to successfully remove the password from a Dell Inspiron 600m.
I must reiterate, as I stated in my previous post, that it did not work on the newer Latitude E5410. Does anyone have an updated version of the dell.exe program that will work on newer Dells?

suffix 1D3B and second generation 595B are the latest and at present they can only be done by Dell and paid service websites
Presumably you could just clear the CMOS by removing and then reinstalling the CMOS battery. This might be a simple way of fixing the problem
