Perfect thread for me to ask a general question

I have noticed english subtitles has never worked on Asian channels on 28e, it appears on screen and vanishes very fast however it works fine on english channels just fine.

Has anyone found a firmware that is working for Asian channels with english subtitles?

Bit late but yes it will as Ive just put it on an F5 recently with no issues other than renaming favs.

as explained here i did put that file to get bouquet and channels but channels are back but not the bouquet where i can divide the channels like music entertainment sport etc what i am doing wrong plz help and want to add adult channels as well.

You will have to do as below.

Adding Bouquet to Favs

To clear the existing name (fav 9, 10 or whatever) press the red delete button to remove the letters till the screen is clear.

Then use the up/down/left/right arrow keys to select a letter. If you need a capital letter press the yellow button once to change from lower case to higher case and press yellow again to go back.

When you have entered the name you want to keep press the blue button to save.


Adding Channels to F3 F5 M5

Menu > Edit Channel > ok > Favourites Edit > Red Button to go to All Satellite > Press
Fav Button and choose fav bouquet you want to add to.

So left pane will have All Satellite list and right pane will have Fav Bouquet list that
you want to add to.

In Left pane scroll to channels you want to add and Ok so it has tick, you can choose
multiple channels.

Once you have selected all channels you want to add to this Fav Bouquet > Right arrow to
go to Middle Window > Press + button to add channels to Fav Bouquets > Right arrow to go
into Fav bouquet and check that the channels have been added > exit and ok to save and
return to tv screen.
