Don't understand for 100% question, but you can read/write DDCR via diagnostic connector, no problem.
Just don't run engine for 5 minutes after write, and you will not lost injectors codes.

So, find a better tool . MPPS chinese also can do this job, like obd and boot mode( full) reading.
Are we talking about DDCR 1.2 ( Delphi)?

Did you tried ALL options EU3 and EU4 ?

You can try also the option in Galletto for the Kia carnival 2.9
It has the same ecu. Reading it, shall not harm anything.

    Time for bootmode-action with Galletto:

Choose the v.a.g. 1.8T model with the 400bb-chip.
Yes, the readout will be 512kb, but it is easy to
later-on spilt the software up in to 2 x 256kb files.

See pictures attached for Special instructions

Let us know if it worked, and please post the file when it worked over here.

    Thanks,

    Cheers,

I also saw kwp2000+ has a renault DCR section in it. And that Mpps would also support this ecu. You perhaps could try one of these interfaces ? Perhaps a friend owns one of these and you may test it ?

Hope to hear from you soon, how it went,

    Cheers,

"KWP2000" also identifies the block-just like Galletti, and does not read .... I've already tried KWP.

Hmm it seems that someting doesn't work-out like it should. Most people are able to read it. Did you try this in the car via obd AND on the workbench via the pinout of my earlier post ?

Ifyes, then the only thing to do, is to see if MPPS does the job. People have been reporting that they could read-out 1.5 ddcr's from clio's and kangoos with it.

Hope that this helps you a bit..

    Cheers,

    PvL
