Well I got one today, but it would be nice to compare another with it, so just send me a couple thanks.
I cant honestly see the mileage being in them, I spoke to guy in the Pas de Calais area today [good job I can parlez de Frenchie!] he thought I was barmy when I suggested the kms where in it!

There is special adding adapters - dongles which give you way to do everything from DUMP which you readed with other programer or you received ...

    Regard's
What are you on about special adding adapters?????
Just fit an eeprom inside a d plug!

then if you want to read on carprog dp3 or anything else, you just plug in eeprom adapter and load dump, read dump, change dump

I didnt think it needed explanation,

TULGEYWOODMAN, No problem I will send them on Monday. Unfortunately I can't give you any wire up details as that's not the sort of thing spanner lackeys know anything about and anyway if he did know he wouldn't tell me as he doesn't like me. Arthur.

Why would anyone want wire up or pin out details anyway?

I just want to compare the insides to the one I have here.

Does car prog automatically reconise various dumps?

When you say vivaro one off here I assume you mean a vivaro dash dump?

when you say does carprog automatically recognise various dumps, do you mean does it differentiate between , for example a 93xx and a 95xx? then the answer would be no, surely you would select the eeprom type manually?

TULGEYWOODMAN, "Why would anyone want wire up or pin out details anyway?" I suppose you are correct about that but it's just the sort of thing every garage can lad would like to know about for bragging rights at the garage or on a forum. Arthur.

There is absolutely no reason to know the wireups.

    JUST ON TOPIC:-

NO, refering to the UCH dump.

Here, leech this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-93c66-270299/ - compare with your kangoo dump

What i meant is, if you found a dump in the street, does car prog tell you what it is off, the zedbull does for immo dumps

buggered if can find the thread was looking for - but mention of milage in vivaro ecu

So the UCH they have skanked in their toolbox can be used with carprog for educational or entertaintment purposes.

Well I dont know about carprog, I only use it for airbag modules.

To be honest it never springs to mind to use it as an eeprom programmer, I tend to use upa firat.

    POSSABILITY OFF TOPIC - SORRY:-

Some of us don't spend all day IN-correcting milages, it's nice to have the odd toy in ones tool box.

Like a quailty china made (even says on the software) K+ CAN 1.4 - had a VW gulf towed in - immo off edc15 ecu.

Had the pleasure to luaghing at the VAST difference the ecu and clocks milage stored. (Car HAD been IN-corrected when it was imported to Meat-City - known fact)

God forbid having to mess about with shitty cars.

Its bad enough just correcting mileages, the thought of setting up damaged cars on a measuring system, then straightening them up, panelling them up, leading them up, prepping them and painting them, fills me with horror.
in out, miles changed, wham bam, get the money, gone.....................
