Yes it works. Recognizes the sw version automatically and reloads the correct dump into mcu.
Sometimes you need to change the mcu and select the sw version manually, because flash memory is corrupted.

What about dash with 3k85k is it possible to do this 2j74y mask option in carprog.

3k85k does not tend to go wrong. It is typical for the 2j74y flash memory.
Anyway, I think the software is the same, but they replaced the mcu because of this problem.

Meteor80, if you bought a new television and found it didn't work, would you try to repair it yourself? Arthur.

if i only paid a fraction of the cost of a genuine one and the shipping back was gonna cost a fortune ?

then Yes !! i would indeed

what you need to grasp is..................a clone thats working at 80% and 1/18th (or less)of the higher price origonal is very appealing

racin-snake. "a clone thats working at 80% and 1/18th (or less)of the higher price origonal is very appealing". What I grasp is that after over 80 pages of what it will and won't do and how to repair a new out of the box one, before you find out what it won't do, personally makes me happy I do not have one and certainly does not encourage me to even think of buying one. Having said that, after borrowing a genuine carprog a while ago, I wouldn't buy an original either. Arthur.

well 100 quid and pennies says a clone will pay for itself in a fraction of the time too !!

also i see your side that people with clones will take your work but such is life mate

build a wall and get over it

instead of being a dick wasting your time and bandwidth like trying to convince us all what we already know your trying to lock the door after the horses have well and truly bolted my friend

give it a rest mate your drivels getting boring

the thread would be about twenty pages lighter if it were not for your inane drivel with no help or merit just a hindrance
