Yes I'm sure it is BUT you don't usually get a jail term for downloading a DVD. Change an IMEI and you will - 5 Years in the UK!

Even just asking to 'unblock' or change an IMEI is illegal...

Nagra, generally speaking it seems the general opinion is that blackberries are the easiest to 'jailbreak', google your phone model and see for yourself

First of all, yes sir it is not a true blackberry. Just the SCH-R351. I love this phone, and have purchased the unlock code. It is locked to virgin mobile canada, and is CDMA. Called up virgin mobile US several times, and said they cannot find the phone. I assume it is because it is not on the sprint network US. Once I unlock, I hope it shows 'sprint'. Only worry I have is if virgin mobile has some sort of database with all IMEI's from USA in it. If it just has to be online, should work, unless you know different about CDMA. Worse come to worse, I would need to reflash the firmware somehow, to run on the sprint network. How do I enter the unlock code on this damn thing? Unlike GSM phones, it has no sim card

Slightly different layout to the original but this supports more MEP's than the old one.

It should be self explanatory in use!

    Enjoy!!
i was just wondering if this tool would unlock a LG phone?
it says its a GSM Universal tool

This applies to both of you...

Check the display on the phone and ensure that it doesn't go into mass memory mode. Select 'Sync Media' and not USB Drive or Charge Only! The description varies between firmware versions, these names are for OS6 but earlier versions should still be quite obvious.

You must have Blackberry drivers loaded, loading Blackberry Desktop Manager to your PC will take care of the drivers!

Check that Blackberry Desktop Manager doesn't automatically start when you plug the USB cable in... This will stop any other programs from accessing the device!

I have just tried the program again under Windows 7 and Windows XP both are working fine! If your using Windows Vista you'll need a full bottle of Gin before you start!

If you still get no joy, start looking at your phones settings and temporarily disable the memory card if necessary via Options. Simply taking the memory card out has no effect, so ensure that you disable via the phones settings!
