    Default utorrent and ftp issues

    Can anyone help me please, i have had no issues ever with utorrent in 4 years and today on my mac nothing downloads or uploads from loads of different sites.

    i cant even connect onto an ftp, when i could yesterday..anyone able to help me out as i am new to macs, my firewall is turned off aswell

    my mac is connected wirelessly to my router

    Try repairing disk permissions from Disk Utility

    Also try "Transmission" Bittorrent Client.. see if that works

    When you download a prog, and click on the .dmg file it opens as a mount. Are you moving the program files/folder from the mount onto the desktop or app folder, because running progs from mounts can give probs. Best to always move the program onto the OS and run from there.

    If its a network prob, cant help you much mate. I'm no network guru.
