EPG = Electronic Programme Guide: basically a tv guide on your telly.

Flashing: The process of placing an image onto a receiver, generally via a null modem cable or sometimes with a usb stick or over a network.
NULL MODEM CABLE : a cable that goes between your pc and your box to send images to the box.
FTP: File Transfer Protocol.. does what it says on the tin, a way of transferring files from your pc to your box, for instance you 'ftp a boquet to your dream box'
BOUQUET: A way of organising channels into their relative categories, for instance, sespn would go into the 'sports' bouquet
LNB.. Low Noise Block, the box at the end of dish arm. a satellite dish bounces satellite signals onto this, and the signal travels down COAX cable to your box
COAX: wire that transmits satellite/terrestrial or cable transmissions,
CCCAM/OSCAM/MGCAM etc.. software that sreads information from a satellite encryption card, used in most instances in CARDSHARE.
CARDSHARE (C/S). Again, the clues in the name, literally sharing the info from a card that enables decryption of pay tv.
CLINE (patsy, sealion): Line of text that enables the above mentioned cams to communicate with the cam at the providers end.
