hi all DK what the difference MPPS V12 with interface alu box and model just cable witch one is better?

The european clone comes as an OBD2 plug and is generally considered better. The aluminium box is the chine clone.

Hardware need change scarymistake, and wait few time some sellers start to sell it.

They both work exactly the same,
i have flashed loads of ecu`s with the ali box and its never failed, and that was with v5 as well. It even recovered BMW EDC16c35
Personaly tho I would buy the OBD2 cable as it is neater and less chance of something like the usb cable coming out the box during a flash,less to worry about

V12 is just a newer version of V5?
Is it worth to buy V12? On ebay V5 cost $30, V12 $100.
I also interested in buying a good european cable.

EDC17 checksum calculation, but i wouldnt bother with it as long as you cant do it in boot mode, it is really not a good idea to flash those cars without a backup plan if something goes wrong.

What cars or ECUs are more dangerous? (except EDC17)

you should be careful with BMW EDC16 (can crash in writing and if you lose CAS-ECU synchro you are screwed), french EDC16 (you can lose injector codes and then you need original diagnostic to recode them)
