Hi all. I managed to make the cable for nexiq to renault obd2. It works perfectly, can read and erase fault codes, everything works fine until vcads asks to switch off the ignition wait 10 seconds and turn on the ignition!

When i turn the ignition on it does not recognise that the ignition is on. Can anyone assist me with this please?

Maybe there is an additional wire i must connect????

VOLVO FM12 380 - GEARTRONIC (AUTOMATIC) - TRUCK IS OPERATING EXCEPT FOR THE GEARBOX. IT TAKES GEARS SMOOTHLY WHEN TAKING OFF AND GOING FORWARD BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN YOU COME TO A STOP, IT DOES NOT WANT TO TAKE GEARS - IT JUST STAYS IN NEUTRAL. SOMETIMES IF YOU PULL OUT THE K5 RELAY AND PUSH IT BACK IN OR TURN OFF THE IGNITION IT STARTS TO TAKE GEARS AGAIN BUT I HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY TIME THE TRUCK STOPS AGAIN.
THERE ARE NO FAULT CODES ON THE GEARBOX ECU AND THE GEAR SELECTOR ECU.

disable the tranny auto neutral if possible, i am not sure you can do it with Vcads, this is a known issue with volvo passenger vehicles and the solution is to reflash the tranny module with one which has this feature disabled.

i have tried to install this several times in different machines but it gives me the same problem in all machines
problem to install the sql
i have tried everything from installating the sql to erasing and re installing the software even erase the installation and begin a new one but have the same issue if some one could help me with this i really would apreciated

Turns out it was the speed sensor causing the problem! No fault codes yet replaced the sensor truck perfect!
