2009 transit alarm keeps sounding

Has anyone had experience with this??

Alarm keeps going off intermittantly, IDS says all last triggers was battery power sounder.

How can the sounder set the alarm off, and, where is it located?

Also tried to disable alarm with ids but wont let me do it

Hi Ninja
Dont know about these in particular.
But if its similar to the Vxs I have done the battery in the sounder is usually duff.
The voltage is too low and it sets the alarm off.
Can be changed on Vxs once you manage to get the power sounder apart.
Might be similar on yours.
Might not and in which case completey ignore me.

I have unpluged the sounder, let it go barmy for a few mins, then all good (silence at last!)
