AppID 253 should not be a problem. What sort of other problems did you face?

Wouldn't it be better to install DAS/Xentry on a working VMWare computer instead of converting a real converter to a virtual machine?

OK, if you prefer that, you should still request a new Xentry key for AppId 253. After that you could report details about your other problems.

Today I had a problem with Xentry in VMware Player 4.x created with VMware Converter on IBM T30 (there is no problem on the T30). At the start, all images and texts are unreadable including buttons and windows title. The problem occurs only in Xentry, other programs do not that. If I let Xentry second time (first Xentry only minimize) the problem goes away. It looks like the problem with the graphics driver and it does it only sometimes. Thank you for a possible solution ...

Go to system / display/ advanced and in the tab troubleshooting and in hardware acceleration reduce to level 3 and test, if xentry is not good yet reduce one more level. BR
