    Default Mondeo flywheel conversion question

    02 mondeo tdci estate

got conversion kit under the impression it fits all tdci from 00-07 then noticed a bit of paper that says that for a 130 model it needs smaller teeth in fly wheel

    is that true??

thing is i am a little unsure if this cars engine is original it may have been a 115 it was imported to the UK in 2007 ( originally MOD car) but it has no specific engine number on the log book it is blank

any ideas on if they are all the same as in the advert i bought it it did say 130 and 115 i also gave reg and vin number

be a pain stripping it down to find out

    true.

The 130 with the 6 speed box always had problems if the solid flywheel conversion was fitted...... IT DON'T RUN!

To compare the wheels without stripping use the scope and calculate the tooth/gap widths.

sorted they sent the wrong part i should have 5mm gap they sent 11

car seems a little slower with the conversion kit is it normal??

and it sometimes seems to give a little grind like the flywheels just out of sync are gearchanges expected to be a tad rougher ??
