Hi all I have 1995 E34 BMW 525 petrol model here the problem is that I get a trans program warning on the cluster,makes no difference the way the car drives when it shows , Its a random event sometimes on start up then it goes out sometimes when driving even when you turn the ignition off. I have scanned the engine ecu and the tranny ecu and found no fault codes. I checked the charging system with a scope all seemed fine so I then replaced the trans ecu .. I still have the same problem.
Has anyone come across this before???
Or steer me in a direction for a possible fix....

Try a battery volt drop test from cold , approx 9.5v min
