Default How to loose the beer belly

Right so I am not a fat guy but during my time working away I put on a bit of a beer belly/ pot belly. I have lost some weight since stopping smoking just over three weeks ago which is good.

I want a quick solution but no crazy diets like eating peanut soup for a fortnight.

Also no 'dont drink beer' . the majority of my died is healthy and could give up the odd take away that I have and replace my Friday roll of bacon, fried egg and fried onions + brown sauce (YUM) at work with a salad or something.

But in general does anyone have any good tips that work?

P.s. I know this thread may cause a slagging .

when i want to lose a stone i just head straight into caveman mode(temporarily )

cut out all refined carbs(sugar, bread,(brown sauce!!!)), also cut spuds, rice, milk (and anything out of a packet)

eat loadsa protein and fat and some complex carbs(meat/fish , cream/butter/healthy oils, some veggies.)

if you have to drink, replace beer with spirits (and diet mixer or water)

    drink plenty water, and exercise.

Count the calories in food. Average man eats 2500 calories. Cut that by 500. Therefor you will start burning fat as your body has less intake.

Sounds daft but it works. Plus you eat what you want just fewer of it.

So you could still have your bacon roll etc but maybe a bowl of soup for supper.

    Works a treat though

stop going to the pub before AND after you get the bus.
take dog out for long walks.
    do the garden.
eat fruit instead of drinking coffee at work.

im sure there's something I've missed that you should be doing that will help you loose weight.

its kinda common sense what you should/ shouldn't be doing to loose weight. everything is good in moderation.
