    Default snr

    Hi all have a fixed 80 dish at 28.2 and can only get my snr down to 65_70 and I get freezing (rev m tuner) dm800 hd pvr would a smaller dish help?

    The bigger the dish size the better and its not your tuner either.
    Looks like you need to check connections and maaybe check the dish for allignment.
    Could try and skew the lnb to see if that helps.

    Default signal strength

    How did you get on, I have same signal strength-28.2 (zero BER), clear line of sight but no change after fitting new lnb and cable, picture will occasionally break up in bad weather. My Sly installer mate told me to set skew at '3', but not being good with heights I havent been up the ladder again.
