    Default 2002 vw jetta 1.8T, GAS, help

    need some hel guys... i got a 2002 jetta 1.8t engine gasoline , this car making me crazy,. start . i push de gas pedal no power, i replace it, i replace the throttle body i adapted with my scan ,, and still doing the same thing, i push the brake i release it and accelerate like the gas pedal.,. i check every wire to the computer , gas pedal and throttle body and looks ok.. any idea what can be... i will really appreciate someone had the same problem... whats the cause,,,,, i checked code says , pedal position sensor cisrcuit B. AND many code like that, with pedal position sensor.circuit

    Also check the brake switch. These modern ecu's tend to override the throttle pedal when they see a brake signal.

    If you still have the pedal position errors, you need to check the wiring. Although the problem could be inside the ecu.

    What are the exact codes (numbers)?

    Had 2 of these jettas doing the same. the cause was a faulty driver in pcm.
    Yesterday we stood in front of the abyss. Today we'll move ahead.

    Hi guys, i ve got one jetta with the same problem and it was a corrupted soic on the ecu. Hard to believe but is true. Sometime u can get the dump corrupted. I just swap the soic inside the ecu and matched the new one with the dashboard and new transponder. At least on that ocasion the problem was solved. hope to have helped....
