Techstream Software and Hardware advice.

Hi guys wanting to get this Toyota Techstream Software/Interface but a little confused as to what hardware I need and what version software and flash files ect.
Had a look on ebay and such like people are selling the china clone type orange colour unit but some have full activation and full ecu flash files which they want a lot more money for and some do not which are a lot cheaper.
Is it a case of getting a cheap china clone type and downloading the full software with activation online?
Now the hardware is it just this interface that is being sold on ebay the orange type used with the techstream software as I seem to see people talking about mongoose interfaces and techstream lite(Which seems like a dimmed down version of techstream)so unsure what to buy and from where and what software I need.
Any advise appreciated.

I am using avdi from abritus and it work well with techstream

l used with pass thru pro ll fom snap-on is work whit full function but l know working with toyota moongose . and with any other J2534 DEVICE

if you going to work on toyota only buy mongoose cable.
i use avdi work 100% with ver 7.00.i had all scanner it is not compatble with new version it would cut out between comnicating,not recommended.they sell it with software but you can download "free"from internet just get the good hardware
