Flashing the EX7000 HD with USB

I would say I am not the brightest when it comes to sorting out the update.
Saying that I can do it.
What you need to do is search this forum. All the information you need is here.
It is easy to find and all I can advise is follow the instructions carefully.
Do not skip bits cos you will mess up.
When you get it right it does the update automatically.
I have had my EX7000 for a while now and have been very satisfied with it.
The picture quality is really impressive too.

Hi, im thinking of buying a eurovox 7000 and ive been reading the threads to learn form other people the teething troubles that they encountered, to allow me to set it up sucessfully. Im having problems clicking the firmware update link. I t wont authorise me, please help!

Hopefully you're now sorted as you did have to make one post, usually introducing yourself, before you could download anything.

I can't get it onto my stick from chatterbox toolbar, keeps saying unknown archive or damaged file, can you help me........

I had recently flashed the unit with a file for improving the low signal, which was a sucsess but since then I have had to do a factory reset, should I reflash the low signal file again.

No a factory reset will not delete the firmware. Welcome to the forum

Hi, any chance of some help. i seem to have managed to get into a real mess with my new eurovox hd 7000. So i plugged it in last night and did the ez install. I had all the channels on the list but all but the standard terrestrial channels were saying scrambled so i assumed i needed to update the firmware so i downloaded the 03.12.09 firmware, went through the process of putting it on my usb stick then turning the box off and on and the box said it was writing the firmware. However, since the box rebooted all it is saying is 'Invalid Data' on the screen and i am unable to do anything, literally apart from turning the box off and on at the back. The only thing i feel like i may have done is not unzipped the download file properly. Any help!! Very worried i've broken my box!.
