Setting up Premier Sports viewing card in DM800

I wanted Premier Sports so I could watch the NRL, but as I'm locked in a contract with Virgin (who don't carry the channel), my only option was to subscribe directly to Premier Sports and have them send me a viewing card. The card worked fine in an old Sky+ box I have, but obviously without a Sky sub (or Jtagging an old Pace box), you can't use the Sky+ recording functionality. Next option was an Openbox, which duly arrived but wouldn't clear Premier Sports. I should have researched it a bit better before I ordered it, but being new to all this I didn't know that CCCam couldn't clear some channels. I sent the Openbox back, and exchanged it for a DM800HD clone, which I've just got working with OSCAM and Premier Sports is now working beautifully!
I tried a number of different installs and configurations of OSCAM before I finally got it working. It was quite hard to test, as Premier Sports is the only encrypted channel I have a sub for, so wasn't sure if it was just that channel not clearing or all of them!
Anyway, in the end I found a very simple way to install OSCAM that doesn't require any alterations to config files, no boxid entry etc, etc - it just installs and works! This setup has OSCAM working as both the server and client, so no other cams required. The details are here:

The first time I installed it, it didn't work - it cleared Premier Sports for a few seconds, then went blank and wouldn't clear it again. I think this was because I'd previously tried to install OSCAM+CCCAM through the cam manager on the box, which didn't work properly, and this was interfering with this new instance of OSCAM.
I reinstalled my image to be sure that no other cams were getting in the way, and the method above worked perfectly when I installed it the second time.

I know there are other posts around addressing similar issues, but I couldn't find one that dealt specifically with the viewing card that Premier Sports sends out.

Hope this info is useful to other sports fans who are stuck with Virgin and need a way of getting Premier Sports.
