problem with dm500hd

I have a dm 500hd, he dos not start. can i flash his memory.

Firstly have you switched the little power switch on the back of the dreambox on ? If yes then search the forum for the tutorial on flashing a new image to your 500hd and if it's not a hardware problem the new image should sort your problem out.
