Scanning New Channels On Blackbox 888

Had searched through Yahoo and Kaos but cant find a guide to scan for new channels for this Blackbox 888. I tried the auto transponder thingy also cant work. Anyone can enlighten me on how I can do the scan? Thanks.

Blackbox888 is the same as dm500c.

Make sure yr box is a cable version and not the satellite if not no matter what u scan, u won't be getting any channels. In the first place, is there any fta channels u received like ch 5, 8 etc?

Got lots of channels not working already always tune to that channel it says no signal but most important recently got euro2012 wanna scan for the new channels

Another problem I faced again need advice from brothers here! Another DM500 set when I pressed on the Menu > Setup it prompted me for a pin. I dont have the pin and I try 0000 1111 till 9999 and 1234 4321 but cant break the pin. Anyone got any idea whats the default pin? Cause If I cant go in to the setup page I cant find the IP address of my box I cant use DBEdit to load new files to the box... Or is there any other way I can totally reinstall this box and set my own pin? Please help thanks!!
