Default Record one channel and watch another on 600C

I've just got my 600C uand running on the Jade PLI image.
Tried a few recordings, off the EPG and instant and all appears ok.
By mistake I changed the channel whilst recording and it still continued to record the original channel, whilst I watched another!!
Would I be corrrect in thinking that this is limited to the channels that are on the same transponder as the one being recorded.
Also a small moan. When I go to watch a recording, if i hit the rewind button at the start it locks the Dreambox up completely ad I have to remove the plug to reboot it. Does anyone else have this problem. Using a WD 160GB HDD.

You would - if you scroll through the channels while recording, you'll only see the ones on the same transponder

If you change to a channel on a different transponder, the recording will stop.

Me too - but you quickly learn not to hit rewind at the start of a recording
