    Default DAS 01.2012 standalone

Hi, is there an .exe file for the DAS 01.2012 or some file from the earlier version that is compatible with 01.2012 version that allows starting DAS without Xentry.
Probably that matter was already discussed, but I couldn't find it on this forum.

    Thanks in advance.

If you don't use DAS in new cars don't need new version, simple use old one. for new models you need Xentry and I don't see where is the problem in star by Xentry, 1 minute more?

In most of the facts you are right,... of course I would also prefer Xentry,... but I'm not installing this for myself,... I'm installing it for a few friends... that don't prefer Xentry and have old machines (notebooks),... so opening Xentry and working in it takes some time. I forgot to say that they are mostly repairing trucks so they really don't need Xentry. And yes, they will use Xentry sometimes ,in rare occasions when they connect diagnosis to small cars (w212, w204. w207).
    Btw thanks for the licences.

    Regards

Asking for a solution on a public worldwide forum, receiving and keeping the solution behind the scenes is nothing what one would consider helping the forum and it's members to develop and improve. Certainly not if people even ask for it publicly and you offer a PM.
What's the big secrecy??? Folks let's cut down on the frustration resulting from many treads END, or are Cut OFF without a usable solution. Especially if one has been offered and succeeded with. Thank You for the consideration, Albert.

Are you threatening us? Why not solve the issue on share it here?

I've already shared it openly on a public worldwide forum.

If you really need help, I'd suggest you to change your approach.

I don't mean to blow up, certainly not at you DB_member, I don't know neither one of you, and you don't know me.

My beef however was directed to pk.evolved and others who receive help, and they solve their problem, maybe indirectly towards you since the solution is not revealed because it happened behind the scenes.
I really should not mention names here, nothing about this is personal. Rather, would like to raise awareness that this acute problem exists and maybe it's worthy of improvement.
I would be in favor of removing those treads, so people don't feel let down, as they read and scroll down towards a solution. Or attempting to offer one.
I realize some of you folks are longtime forum members, and
I'm not. Seniority has it's values. I'm long time and active member on other forums, and signed up to this one to broaden my horizon.
At this time I don't need the solution mentioned here above, it just hit me one more time, like it did many other times. I run DAS from within Xentry, and OK with that.

In a previous post of mine, I brought up a well documented case, unfortunately so far not much movement on that one. [ http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...rouble-258714/ ]

Maybe my reasoning about posting a solution won't hit on deaf ears. I think that would raise the value of any forum.
    Respectfully Albert.

I really didn't wanted to publish it because it's not my work (modification of the certain file) and I didn't wanted to argue with the "author" of the file. But as DB_member mentioned, he already published it , so I it became public, and as I saw later it was published here on DK. Because of that, to make it easy for other members, I uploaded it here today.

    Regards, pk.evolved
