    Default MB w211 seat sensor

    Hi mates,

    After disable the passenger seat sensor in a w211 with Das developer and clear all faults the red light in the dash and SRS advice still on.
    The car have no faults.
    what I forget?
    Anyone can help?

    Have you disconnected the connector under the seat?

    Yes, I have. I think if don't disconnect the star give a faut code.

    Did you reset the SRS control unit after coding?

    Have you tried using the Special functions menu instead of developer menus?

    I went down this road once..could never get it to work w/developer..Ended up getting a simulator..Would be nice to know the procedure to do this?

    Using DAS DEVELOPER, in airbag special functions, set off the seat sensor, then unplug the conector of the seat sensor,otherwhise you will get an Incorectly coding airbag fault, and light on dash too.

    In das dev. mode variant coding sbse/akse off i think dont rimember now and unplug or cut seat sensor under the pass. seat then erse fault codes 2 times
