Enter the code into the BSI then releran the keys. When it says no communicating with Engine ECU does it say remote or local.

    HI

    ONLY JUST SEEN THIS THREAD.

THAT FAULT THAT CAR, THE FIRST THING YOU DO.

THE LOOM FROM THE FRONT OF THE FUSEBOX OVER THE BELLHOUSING, REMOVE THE PLASTIC CASING, ABOUT 9 WIRES FROM MEMORY, RED AND YELLOW - CLOSE EYES AND YANK.

WE HAD ONE ABOUT A YEAR AGO, IT RESISTED BEEN YANKED 4 DIFFERENT TIMES - HARD, ECU HAD BEEN SENT AWAY ETC ETC, SEE ON SOME INFERIOR WEBSITE ABOUT HOW SOMEBODY HAD 3 WITH SAME ARROGENT FAULT.

GOT THAT PISSED OFF WITH IT, JUST REALLY REALLY YANKED VERY VERY HARD ON ALL THEM WIRES, THEN LE SNAP, GREEN WIRE, BUT IT HELD SOLID, REALLY REALLY PISSED OFF AT THIS POINT, LE SCOTCH LOCK, FIRED UP INSTANTLY.

ANNOYING THING WAS THAT WAS THE FIRST THING WENT TO WHEN IT CAME IN. AND THE COSTOMER HAD HAD A GOOD TUG AS WELL IN THAT AREA.

WE MUST HAVE BEEN 12 HOURS OFF-LINE DOING IT, EVEN "PRETENDED TO HELP ANOTHER COSTOMER" BY PLUGGING IN IT'S NOW UNLOCKED ECU.

    HTH

    MEAT

ASSUME ABS IS TELLING IT HAS LOST A WHEEL.

ABS WILL SAY "WHEEL STOLEN -PERMENT"

    PMSL .........

Remote fault means a control unit has detected a fault further down the can bus/cabling. Local is nearer to home. Coherance is a good one which means the circuit is ok but the reference value is not correct

Peugeot Planet is one of the best dealer tools i have used..

If it's really good (equal to battery voltage) chances are you have a short circuit to plus.
