    Meh, the spec list above seems to be for an S9, and when googling for pictures of an S16 it seems to show an S10 ...

    I don't consider it linux unless it has a built-in hardrive.
    Probably ali tds2

    As far as in aware still don't open sly Hd even with a sealion :-( unless I've missed something over last few day ? Anyone ?

    Opens sd channels but seems slow with cccam put my S16 back in box looking / waiting new better firmware to be released . Good look

    I may be wrong but it has come out now well over 4 weeks and if they can not find any new software I recon it?s more likely a free view box mate.

    probably just a true fta receiver due to the lack of support.
    I believe the 3601 processor is actually newer than the 3606 used in the s16.

    Difference between satellite receiver Openbox S16 with Openbox S111.It is ALI-M3606C chip for openbox s16,update from ALI3602
    2.Real 1080P-50.1080P-60 HD decoding, The image color more full, more clear
    3.Have record function

    But still dont work with sly HD channels and no new firmwares out to fix problem :-(

    they are up to v2.0 but chinese
    eng is still v1.1 I think
    I don't have an s16 to verify the date so I won't post it.
