Default Eurovox max V picture & sound distortion

    Hi guys.

New to this site and hoping with all the knowledge out there i will find a solution to my problem.

    Here goes....

I have bought a eurovox max v, scanned for channels and recieved 300 or so (some channels are doubled up). Nearly all channels come across as a broken picture with distorted sound.

It states channels are scrambled, is this normal? My signal varies from 84 -98 percent when scanning but drops of completely momentarily then back to the figures mentioned. I have tried to update the firmware from the exisitng one dated April 08 to a newer dated Dec 08 but once the update is complete it still states the older version firmware. All cables are the correct type.

Can anyone help as this is doin my head in now!

    Regards

    Gordon

    Default

try reflash with autosort fix 10/12/08 then do a factory reset then a power scan.
if it has taken the new flash you will also have the option to deep scan ,good luck m8

its the stuff we think we know that stops us all from learning
