Due to further development in our vehicles and the use of many new control units, it has become necessary for a number of the control units, especially on Audi vehicles, to be connected to a different pin on the diagnosis socket on the vehicle side. In order to allow the exchange of data with all control units (VAS5051 - only with 3m diagnosis leads - and VAS5052), the revlevant diagnosis lead must be fitted to a "K" lead switch. The new "K" lead switch VAS6017B is required for the Audi A4>2005, in particular, and allows access to the CAN bus installed in the vehicle. The new K lead switch VAS6017B is compatible with reverse flow and replaces previously used "K" lead switches VAS6017/VAS6017A. K1 - K lead 1 K2 - K lead 2 A - Attempting to address While an attempt is made to address the control uit, the yellow LED will light up. As soon as the control unit responds, the yellow LED will go out and the relevant LED (K1 and K2) will light up.
