Due to further development in our vehicles and the use of many new control units, it has become necessary for a number of the control units, especially on Audi vehicles, to be connected to a different pin on the diagnosis socket on the vehicle side. In order to allow the exchange of data with all control units (VAS5051 - only with 3m diagnosis leads - and VAS5052), the revlevant diagnosis lead must be fitted to a "K" lead switch. The new "K" lead switch VAS6017B is required for the Audi A4>2005, in particular, and allows access to the CAN bus installed in the vehicle. The new K lead switch VAS6017B is compatible with reverse flow and replaces previously used "K" lead switches VAS6017/VAS6017A.
