VM V+ Network port

Anyone know what this port does? I asked the engineer about this when he was fitting the box and he said he didnt have a clue what it was for. I got a Dbox2 as well and love the fact you can access its webpage and stream channels to the PC. Would be amazing if this was possible on the V+ boxes but I know its very unlikely!
