    Default Powergate problems

    Hello,

    I'm new here.

i just received a hacked powergate (original S converted to full 3.83, not chinese clone)

When i try to read ford focus 2 tdci 110hp i keep getting error 00 02 and error 00 01 no communication with ecu.

No mather what driver i take. id, dtc, nothing works.

    what could be the problem?

I also received mpps (combine shipping for a friend)
i want to try to read the ford, but how to know what driver to use? there is edc16C3, 16C34-2 and 16C34-5

PWG should work and it should be EDC16c34.
Have you tried the PWG on any other vehicle ?

when you open it is there a small board and somewires soldered or is it totally clean?
Try to exchange the cable for one original with green end. ask someone who might have it just to test. If the problem maintains, then you must return to who sold you the interface.

is the board the old version or the newer version?
newer version has a small 8pin chip from AD for rs485 near AT90can and older version has an OKI chip near AT90can.

Anyone can post pwgpro 3.86 here so i can try? It was told to be able to use upgrades.

i'm not sure to download the latest version from the webssite.
If i go to high. will it kill the flasher or will it just not work? And work again on lower version?
