Red face Log in as admin on original Compact4

Have original Compact4 and want to log in as admin. Only saw one similar post, but solution did not work for me. I believe the correct approach involves stopping the process "StarSekurit" by using the task manager. It may be possible to do this by accessing the CMD prompt by using network diaganosis in star utilities. How do I get into this locked compact4?

try logoff and keep youre fingers on the Shift keys, after a period of time a window will appear and you can type in it the user name (Administrator) and the password. As far as I know ...

This information is correct. Do you know what the administrator pass word is? My goal is to be able to look at the files, nothing more. As I have struggled off and on with my other Xentry installations, I thought it might be useful.

To reset the Administrator password you will need a bootable cd with erd commander. For additional information's on how to achieve this pls search on google.

After reading on Google, it looks like it can be done with not much of a problem. I will wait a while because my C4 is still under warranty. If there is a problem I don't want to give MB an excuse not to fix it. I am surprised that the password is not common knowledge.
