DM500s ticker at bottom of screen

I have tried to find out how to do this but the nearest I came was an RSS reader for my DM500s

Is there any way to have say a sports ticker that shows the latest news on the end of the screen no matter what channel you have on, or am I dreaming?

I heard of a plugin called 'tuxnews' that does it but its not in my blue button download's

Anyone have any idea's?
