Ducati 620, red key lost, black keys out of sync

I've got a Ducati 620 in, the red key has been lost, well at least as far as the transponder is concerned.

The bike has been parked up since 2003 and thus lost its sync with the two black keys


I read somewhere about getting a Silca KW17T5, anyone know if it will work or where to get one?

no way to lost sync key with dashboard,only ecu with dashboard is possible,and can be done via ducati diagnostic or virgin ecu...

I've rung two Ducati dealers and they reckon the only way to sync it back up is to replace everything which appears to be the general view on the Ducati forums.



I can start the bike by entering the Immo/electric code into the car manually, but not with the key.

the light remains on when any key is inserted. Yet the cars immo coil has been replaced

Any thoughts?
